Project CURE is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center that is situated in lovely Dayton, Ohio at 1800 North James H McGee Boulevard. From my own experience I called around looking for help last summer. Left a message, was contacted where they got some info from me over the phone, got a scheduled appointment a month from then. Made it to my appointment, came in sick thinking I would get help right then, no. Filled out paperwork, got another appointment made it to that. Got assigned a counsoler, did bloodwork urine samples. When medicated I was great, stayed this way all year. Got tired of going everyday, was ready to get off it cause it was a hassle due to work and driving times fifteen miles away. Tried stopping cold turkey, big mistake, now trying to get back on to be medically discharged weaned off little at a time. I recommend just following through with what is right for you personally. Posting from my personal experience I got help I needed when I put forth the effort to get it. If you got no where to turn to try it, eventually I got tired of the taste of that medicine and been sober for so long I felt I was strong enough to leave on my own without help, should of got weaned off it. This place has saved my life, I would recommend project cure to anyone who has an addiction. It's a great place with awesome people who really cares about your sobriety, but if you are not ready for help I don't think you should waste people's time, for their are so many people whom need help these days with the overdose rate in Dayton right now.. God bless you and I hope you found out why I continue to be a part of project cure.

I think it's a crying shame that Project Cure has such a bad reputation. Project Cure saved my life. It is not the facility that should have a bad reputation. It is the unfortunate souls that come here, choose not to take advantage of the help that this place offers, and continue to do what they have always done. I shudder to think of where I'd be today if it weren't for this clinic and the stellar support I have received and continue to receive at this wonderful place! The new facility is absolutely beautiful and well kept. I feel safe coming here every day and would absolutely recommend Project Cure to anyone who wishes to find recovery!

For real if you're ready to get off dope/opioids, and you suffer from chronic pain like myself then Project Cure's MAT program can be a life-changing (saving) experience. Don't blame the program if you're just not ready.

I know Project C.U.R.E. has a bad name withe community in general, but they have saved many of lives, including my own... Just like with anything in life you'll always have those few folks that just gotta go against the grain and Project C.U.R.E. is no exception. The counselors, medical department as well as the staff are great. They treat us addicts with kindness, dignity, and respect even when we are in our worst parts of our addiction and when the rest of society has given up on us and sometimes rightfully so. So yeah, it's safe to say that I would not only 100% recommend this place I would encourage anyone with a heroin or strong pain pill addiction to give Project C.U.R.E. a shot.

The medication helps two stabilize my life so that I could learn how to deal with my disease on a day-to-day basis!! If you want To Be Drug Free this facility will help YOU learn how.

Helpful if you are ready to change, a few hoops to jump through but well worth it!
